NEW APPOINTMENT SYSTEM STARTING ON 29TH SEPTEMBER
New Appointment requesting coming soon.
Whilst we get a lot of great feedback for our consultations we know that we need to improve how you request GP appointments and services. So to achieve this and align with the national “modern general practice” model we are making some changes.
From the 29th September we will be accepting online requests for appointments and services via a form on our website, which will be in the appointments option (this page will be updated before launch). The form will be available from opening at 8am and throughout the day for you to tell us about your symptoms or request.
You will still be able to call us or pop in if you need to, in which case our receptionists will complete the form for you, or can help you use the online form (so you will have the convenience next time).
Appointments will not be given out immediately, as every request will be considered by our GP led triage team first. We will then call or message to update you with an action, appointment or advice. This will ensure that you get to see the right clinician and that urgent conditions are prioritised.
Staff will be happy to assist with using the forms and any queries. To ensure a smooth launch of our new process we will be closed on the afternoon of Thursday 25th September from 1pm for final training and preparations.
We are confident the changes will make things better for everyone so please do bear with us in the early days.
Thank you for your patience and support.
