Hobs Moat Medical Centre is a partnership of five doctors. The medical centre was purpose-built in 1997, and further extended in 2009 and provides spacious accommodation for all staff and patients, with full access for the disabled. There is a car park for patients and staff including disabled and parent/child spaces. The practice has approximately 11,600 patients from Solihull, Olton, Sheldon and some from Yardley and Acocks Green.
There are eight doctors in total, who share commitment to high quality personal primary healthcare. There are four Practice Nurses, who work alongside the doctors and run clinics for chronic disease management, screening, prevention and other clinics. Other attached staff include District Nurses, Health Visitor, Physiotherapist, Speech Therapists and Midwife.
We are fully computerised and are commissioned to provide health services to our registered population by NHS England. As a training practice, we work with GP Registrars and are also involved in research and audits. The practice has a full range of diagnostic equipment, including ECG machine, ambulatory blood pressure monitor, spirometer and minor surgery equipment, to enable us to provide as full a service as possible in-house.
